Lee’s Environmental was delighted to supply the funds to purchase a 4WD vehicle for the Irene Gleeson Foundation orphanage in Uganda. The orphanage’s previous vehicle was destroyed in a serious accident and they could not afford to replace it. Unfortunately, there is little to no public transport near their location and this was a heavy blow as the vehicle was used to keep watch on their crops, for driving the sick to hospital, and other important trips. The staff and children were overjoyed to receive the 4WD and put it to work immediately, ferrying the children to help in the garden where they have planted 10 acres of maize. “We are grateful and God bless you all.” said orphanage leader, John, as the transport of the children is now well taken care of.
